Ride Preview

10 AM Start Time

The weather this week is expected to be cold with fog early in the day. Temperatures in the upper 30s throughout the ride. Roads may still be wet from rains on Friday and fenders will probably be needed. The route is Gaston CW (46.1 miles, 1030 ft).

The route goes south via the Century corridor, Main, Brookwood and Witch Hazel to Rood Bridge. West on Burkhalter, Simpson, Johnson School to Golf Course, Lafollett and Geiger. At Fern Hill we'll have the first pass on the Fern Hill Freeway. Regroup at Spring Hill and continue south to Gaston Rd. West through Gaston and connect to Old OR-47. North to Spring Hill and east OR-47 to Fern Hill for another pass at the Fern Hill Freeway. Regroup at OR-47 before looping around the east side of Forest Grove to Martin and the roundabouts east of Verboort. North on Cornelious Schefflin to Wren and east across Wren and Glencoe to a neutral finish on Evergreen to Evergreen Park.

Please be sure to download the appropriate GPS file to your computer (tcx or gpx). And print the map/cue sheet or pick one up at the start. Let's try to avoid the collapse into one large group because only 1-2 people have the route.

The weather is predicted to be cool with temperatures in the upper 30s and the possibility of a foggy morning.

Start connecting with friends

At our core, we’re a community of cyclists who love to ride our bikes. It doesn’t matter if you ride 14 or 24mph, whether you enjoy 35 mile or 75 mile rides. We don’t care if your bike cost $900 or $9,000, if you’ve been riding one year or twenty. What matters to us is your passion for cycling, that you care about safety and you enjoy riding with a great group of like-minded individuals.

Our club motto - “It’s All About the Ride!” - speaks volumes about who we are and what we’re about.
